Sending my fall transcripts

<p>I'm applying for transfer to SBU for Spring 2014. I got an email saying that a fall transcript is needed before a decision can be made on my application. However, my fall semester will not be finished until late December so I won't be getting my final fall grades until then. </p>

<p>I had a chat with admissions and they told me that they don't accept midterm grades for the fall transcript. But I really don't want to wait until December 30 for my final grades because it will take at least 2 weeks for it to arrive and be processed, and probably another week or two for admissions to review my application. I would really prefer if I could get this situation sorted out by next week and get my application processed and admission decision finalized before December 1. </p>

<p>What should I do? Any help would be appreciated.</p>

<p>I don’t think you have a choice. Admissions has probably already reviewed your application, hence why they are requesting a final transcript. So once they receive it, they’ll probably be able to make a decision immediately. But what difference is there if you’re accepted on the 1st or the 30th?</p>
