Sending My SAT scores

I was a little confused regarding my sat scores. I already have a score of 1830. I have registered for the jan sat and obviously I am expecting way more than that. I Was just worried as to what should be the right time to send my sat score report. Sending the score I have right now wouldn't make sense since all the schools I am applying to need to review the highest score. and then I'll have to send the new score all over again. Plus, i also want to show them that I have registered and I don't want to be too late in doing that. Please tell me what should be the right time to do it.

Here’s my situation:

I took SAT Reasoning twice and 3 subject tests. I sent out these reports on the 21st. I’m re-taking a subject test in January and will send the Jan scores using the free score reports with my registration for fastest speed!

If you send reports with registration, and you select older scores to go along with it, those won’t be sent until you do your new test that you used to register with (ie. they will all go together, after you’ve done your last/registration test)

so you are saying that I should now wait for the result of my jan sat and then send all the sat scores?
Wont it be very late?
Though I’ve mentioned on my common app that i’ll be talking test this Jan, would it be enough information for them?

No, the precise opposite. I already sent my 2010 scores. I’m sending my Jan scores with my registration (fastest) and yes mention it on Common App

So you are saying that if the SAT score-send deadline at the school is Jan.1 and I’ve already registered for the Jan. SAT, I have to send the scores twice? Once at the end of January and once right now, without the Jan. scores?
Right now, it says that my scores will be sent approx Jan 31.

I don’t know if you have to. I just did, so they can at least have most of my scores. I’m not even sure if my scores will arrive on time by Jan 1-the status is still “pending”, but since schools view apps based on the order they arrive in, I’m not TOO worried.

It says I can change or add recipients for the December date by Dec. 13. It is Dec. 28 now, I’ve tried sending one of my December scores (without Jan. scores) on Dec. 21, it says it is pending. Will it get there on time if I have to send them by Jan. 1?

^I’m in the same boat as you are. As I said before, I don’t think it’s a big deal if it doesn’t get there by Jan 1, as long as you requested to have it sent out before then. This applies especially if your school accepts January scores and/or view apps in the order that they come in.

But I haven’t had my problem solved. Should I send the scores that I have today(which ofcourse will not include jan) and then send the scores again after january scores come in. I don’t have any free reports available too because the date is long behind. and I have like 12 schools. What to do?

I don’t know. That’s what I did, but then again, I only had 4 schools.

I think that I should wait. My sat 2 is fine 730 math 2 and 710 physics. but my sat1 is a disastrous 1830 which i appeared for like people do for diagnostic tests. sending once will be fine. i guess.
