I am applying to an early decision school and the deadline is November 1. I took my final SATs in October but I forgot to change my score recipients on my free score reports. So now I have to send them all for $9.50 each. :(

But I am wondering, let's say I pay for rush reports tomorrow. Will they include my October SAT score and will they get to the college on time? What if I do not rush my scores? Will they still include my October scores and will they get to the colleges on time?

"Only score reports from completed and scored tests will be sent to the colleges and scholarship programs you select. Scores from future tests for which you registered, but have not yet completed, will not be included."

This quote is taken from Collegeboard.com and it really confuses me. Haha. Can someone explain this?

If you send the scores now, they will not include the October score. You have to wait until you get the October score.

Look at your college's website. If it says that they will accept the October score, then you're fine. Send them the day you get the score, and it will arrive in time - for most schools, the scores don't need to be received by the application due date. (Again, this may vary so check with your particular school.)

Don't bother to rush your scores. They really don't get there any faster; rush scores are mailed while regular scores are sent electronically.

When in doubt, call the school and ask them these questions.

As soon as they come out, order them sent regular delivery. Every college that has ED and a deadline for apps in November accepts October scores by regular delivery though they may arrive after the app deadline date; most of them even accept November test scores at least for SAT IIs.

My S sent his scores to his schools from the Oct test ticket. I was also very confused with the wording on CB. However, the test ticket stated they would send the scores from that test (and all others I guess). I hope I am not wrong as I will be really p***ed if I have to pay again.
