<p>Do I have to send them if I self reported them? I mean will I still get the recognition for my AP scores if no official report is sent?</p>

<p>I am an undergrad at Tufts now, and I did not send in my AP scores when I applied. I did send my scores over the summer and I received credit for them.</p>
<p>My son didn’t send them with the application. His school could have vouched for the scores he self reported if there had been any doubts. That’s a big extra expense if schools are expecting official AP scores as well as SAT or ACT scores.</p>
<p>My S didn’t send an official copy of AP scores until he had decided to matriculate (after 5/1). He did self-report his scores.</p>
