hello!
I’m a transfer and we have to send our official high school and college transcripts by july 1. So davis did receive my college transcript (since my school was the one that sent it) and I did send out my high school transcript on my own on june 21. I added tracking for my high school one since I’m the one sending it and according to tracking, it was delivered to davis by friday (june 23). As of today, I kept on checking the status of my transcript if davis received it or not, but the status still says “not received”.
As the due date is approaching very soon, I’m getting quite nervous about the status and was wondering if anyone knows how long they process and update the transcript status. Also, would anyone happen to know what number to call to double check and know if they received my transcript or not so I could asap and just get another transcript if it got lost or something?
I also had my daughter’s school send her HS transcript and it has yet to update on the Davis website. It seems as though it takes some time for them to process it.
From what I understand, the transcript has to come directly from the school to be “official.” So you might want to check on that if you sent it from your own address.
@LilyMoon ahh okay, thank you for your response! And oh shoot, my transcript was sealed in an envelope and stamped by seal of approval, but I placed that envelope in those shipping bags so I could qualify for tracking. I’m hoping they opened it and just are lagging in updating…
You cannot send an official HS transcript. It has to come FROM the high school.
Call to confirm but there is some lag in updating various parts of the website. For instance, we uploaded a photo for the ID and received an e-mail confirmation but the website hasn’t been updated. The same goes for student health documents - we are complete but the check list still indicates that it is necessary to complete.
My son sent an email to confirm and was told that the last time they updated/reviewed transcripts was on June 20. Makes me nervous because our high school is notorious for saying that they sent them and then it turns out that they did not. I sure hope that there is a grace period, just in case.
I spoke to admissions yesterday since my daughter’s transcript still said not received on the website. They told me as long as it is postmarked before July 1st it’s all good. Hopefully it didn’t get lost in the mail :)>-
