<p>If i'm sending transcripts from a community college, what exactly does it mean by official? I know that it means the college sends it directly but does that mean they seal it up themselves or does that mean i can actually provide the envelope for the transcript?</p>
<p>I ran into that problem...you can provide postage if you want (although my college said they didn't care) but they must use their own official envelopes. Just fill out the request for transcripts and they'll handle the rest...same with recommendations and such...you can't provide envelopes - just give them a list of the addresses to send it to and they'll get it done.</p>
