Sending only ACT score...

I was curious...everything SAT for me pretty much sucks (SATIIs: 560 USH, 590 Math1, 600 Bio. SATI: 680 CR, 620 Math, 650 Writing).

Therefore, I would like to only send my ACT (31) to schools that don't require SATIIs. Will this put me at a disadvantage, only sending my ACT to schools that have an ACT only option (which is the majority of the schools I'm interested). SATIIs may not be required, but recommended in many cases. I would send my SATI, but as you know, the IIs get sent too. Any opinions?

This has been discussed many, many times. You can search through the forum and see what people have had to say.

The better view (mine, as it turns out :) ) is that it does not put you at a disadvantage. You will certainly be better off sending that very nice ACT score than showing the SAT IIs. Actually, my daughter was in the same situation (SAT IIs about the same and an ACT of 30; didn't take the SAT I, though). She got accepted into three selective schools.

I've heard others here recount success with just the ACT.

People who put the test down are relying on what used to be true about school preferences for certain tests, not what is currently true.
