Sending packages to the dorm.

Is it possible to send packages (the size of a shoebox) to the dorm?

Yes--they will put a pick-up slip in your mailbox when your package comes. Just include your building and room number in the address.

yeah. Just give the address of your unit with your room number and building as the seond line: just as with regular mail. They'll put a slip in your mailbox and then you have to go to the window and sign for it.

Make sure you put your name on the package or they will return it.

Make sure you check with them if you're expecting something though, because the Foothill mailroom at least pretty much sucks at distributing those little slips. Sometimes you'll have a package just sitting there and they won't give you any notification.
It's happened to me three times...

and apparently it takes several more days for usps packages to arrive because they are sent directly to the dorms

i have 3 packages a day at ckc, i love it :)

correction: they areN'T

3 packages a day? wow ms. latina, you sure are popular ;)

lol, on the contrary, i barely know anyone! but i tend to shop online a lot (you can get good bargains if you know how) hence the packages
