Do you think it looks bad if I send like 4-5 pics of me in the application for example doing my main EC's and perhaps also a picture of me..

or that would look bad?

Do you know anyone who already did it?

one will probably do.

rule of thumb: if they don't specifically ask for it, don't send it.

I can't think of any reason to do that. To me, it just seems conceited. I think that Harvard would be more interested in what you accomplished through your EC (and they'd learn that through your essay, interview, recommendations) than seeing you in action via a snapshot.

The only new information about your EC they'll get from a photo is if your EC is something like stage makeup design and there's no other way to document it. Otherwise, this is a bad idea. The undergrads who work opening mail in the admissions office just take the photos out and throw them in a cardboard box in the mailroom.

i heard it's a good way to put a picture to the information

ask for some conselour advice.

In my school, the transcript has a 2'' by 1'' picture of the person in black and white. it is the same photo that goes into our yearbooks. What should i do when i apply??? i'm not exactly model-pretty, but i'm somewhat above average, i guess. btw, it's just your typical head shot, should i ask them to cover it up?? WOuldn't that be telling the colleges that I'm doing this on purpose?? oh, what to do....

Just leave it, Monzzei. That pix isn't a big deal. What you're describing is very different from your sending several pictures of yourself to the adcoms. That's the kind of thing that except for the kind of special circumstances that Hanna describes would look conceited or superficial.
