<p>I'm applying as a freshman for the 09-10 school year and would like to know if I need to send recommendation letters with my application. I read on here that UF doesn't really use them, and the BRACE Director at my school (helps with college applications and stuff) said that I shouldn't send recommendation letters.</p>

<p>i asked a UF rep this same question.. she said "you can send them if you want to, but we really don't read them."</p>
<p>The woman at OHSSP specifically said that they'll file them, but won't look at them.</p>
<p>yup like everyone else has said, you don't need any recommendation letter. your essay however is important , so make sure you write a good essay :).</p>
