Sending recommendations

<p>A lot of my teachers prefer to mail my recommendations instead of do them online. If they want to mail my recommendation, can they simply send a letter that they type up themselves, or are they required to fill out the Common App's teacher evaluation form and mail that as well?</p>

<p>They are free to attach their own letter to the common app form (most teachers do it this way), but the common app form should definitely be included with each mailed rec.</p>

<p>Some schools have their own recommendation forms. Do we have to use those, or is it OK to use the common app’s recommendation form?</p>

<p>When we are filling in the school forms section, do we just assign teachers to it the same way we would if they were doing it online?</p>
