Sending SAT Scores EA

So I'm getting a bit confused about this. I have scores for 2 SAT dates and 1 SAT II date that I want to send. However, I also want to send an October SAT II test. The EA deadline is Nov 1st, so I'm not sure as to how I should send these scores. If I pay to send the 2 SAT and 1 SAT II dates now, and the oct SAT II when it arrives, will they all be considered by UMich? What if I sent all of them together as a free report when I receive my Oct scores back?
Thanks in advance!

The safer approach is to send the current scores now and order the free score report for the upcoming test. This way will make your EA application complete without worrying if anything happens to the pending score. Also, it would avoid any delay in reviewing your application. You may indicate on your application that you have pending scores. October score would be considered if it is not severely delayed. That was what the UMich adcom recommended last year.

The only way to know for sure would be to contact your admissions counselor. I know that Notre Dame and Georgetown both will accept SAT scores sent with the free score report from the October SAT, all I did was shoot them an email.

Thanks a lot! I’ll just email my counselor to confirm what I should do. I have other EA colleges that say they except October dates so I’ll save myself the money there. But I was unsure about how long it would take to reach the colleges; thanks for clearing that up.

Don’t wait to send your existing scores. UofM requires a complete application to be considered EA (teacher reqs, test scores, etc.). From the UofM website.

This throws a few kids every year.

@momofthreeboys‌ thanks. I was just looking to take advantage of the free reports. I’m also applying to GaTech, UMaryland, and MIT EA. MIT accepts up to november tests and gatech accepts anything 2 weeks before decisions are released (january 2015). Would it be safe to send these along with the oct test in the free report?

Momofthreeboys is right. I know a student that got email from UM a few years ago that her EA package was not being processed as EA because she failed to send ANY score by Nov 1 deadline. She took Oct SAT and Nov SAT subjects, had a previous SAT score but failed to read the fine print on their website. A complete package must be received by Nov 1, This is not to say you cannot send follow up scores. They may review those. But they do want recs and scores and application by Nov 1.

This girl’s package was reviewed for regular admission. Denied. It seems a much better shot to get in on early round.

Thanks. CollegeBoard said it sent my scores on Oct 3rd, so I’m good!
