Sending SAT Scores in time for UC's?

I just sent all my SAT scores to my UC's yesterday, but did it using standard delivery (1-2 weeks) Will that be sufficient time for the UC's to receive them, or do I need to do the rush delivery option?

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. When are SAT scores due for the UCs?

January I forget the date, but the last day to take the SAT is this Saturday.

So even if I've had my SAT scores for a while now, I still just need to get it in by January?

yes you are correct

SAT scores for UCs due Nov 30. For test that you plan to take in Dec or Jan, you should send to them when you take them. You have exactly one day to send. It's the date you send, not the date they receive.

What if you've taken old SATs but still are taking them in Dec. Can you send them Dec. 1st?

yeah, the december ones are accepted.

yes that is ok. But if you are done with SAT, send them now.

Wait, you guys are contradicting each other. 99cents, you're basically saying I'm screwed if I haven't sent in my SAT scores to the UCs yet? I already have all my SATs done from last year, but I haven't sent them in yet.

sorry for taking the thread, but is it too early to send them now? should i wait for january. what about CSU's

I'm not sure, but I'm guessing the reason for the January deadline is for people who are testing in December. It takes a while for the scores to come back.

Although this is just a guess. I don't really know the reason why. Does someone else know for sure?

Per UCDadmissions in another thread...

Each Campus is going to have a deadline for scores. Here is a general UC link regarding the examination requirement: University of California - Counselors . You should also receive information from the University of California regarding the exam scores after submitting your application, typically late December or early January if they are missing exam scores.

The only thing due by November 30, 2007 is the completed application for undergraduate admissions for fall 2008. Test scores and transcripts are due at later dates and applicants will receive information regarding these due dates when appropriate.
