It says they're sent one to two weeks from when you place your order, so they might get to the colleges a few days after application deadlines. Is that ok?

Some colleges say it is. Some say it’s not.

If you want to eliminate all doubt, and if you can’t find it on their websites, you could call the admission offices of the colleges you’re interested in and ask them individually. And you can send an email to your regional rep at each institution to let them know that your scores are on the way.

There are several colleges who say you don’t have to rush the scores. If some of “your” colleges insist that they be in by deadline, you’ll have to pay the rush charge.

Good luck!

They all say testing should be done by either December or January, but none explicitly say they must receive the scores before the deadline. Some say they have to be sent before then. Since December SAT scores come back on the 22nd, should I assume they’ll accept regular shipping? And a couple actually discourage rushing…ahhhh this is so confusing

i’d like to know about this, too. i’m calling all my schools tomorrow. apparently if a school accepts scores electronically they can get them SAT scores up to four days? i don’t even know anymore. D:
and transcripts, etc just have to be postmarked by the deadline, right? i can’t find anything definitive on some of the websites.

I think I also might have to rush score my test.

Can’t you just put on the common app or wahtever:

“Jan 2010 SAT Date”

and then no score, so colleges see that you are taking the SAT that date.

Do some transcripts contain your SAT scores?
