Sending SAT scores to CUNY colleges - Yikes! Help!

I need some help as ive searched the internet to no avail

Essentially, for CUNY NYC colleges (ex, john jay or baruch) you do NOT apply via commonapp but rather the CUNY official website

Via this application, the colleges that you apply to require SAT tests, however all the app asks you in regards to SAT is to check a box indicating you have taken it or plan to take it

They also indicate they can check your GPA/Regents/Exam grades via the school ID you provided. Does the same apply to SATs? Or no? So, similarly to private universities, you have to send all those colleges you applied to, SAT scores via the collegeboard website?

Whats even more puzzling is that collegeboard says it takes 1-2 weeks for the thing to ship (extra charge if faster) to the college after it is processed. So if I send my application today, I find it strange that they'll get my application without the SAT scores. Instead the SAT scores are sent to the colleges on an entirely separate matter, without any importance of whether or not you even sent an application to the college?! Shouldn't they be sent together?

So should I send the SAT scores now to the colleges I am going to apply for, then 1-2 weeks later send the official application via the CUNY website (deadline Feb 1st)? I'm thoroughly confused and want to desperately avoid making a dire mistake. Thanks!

Making a long story short for those who dont want to read everything:

Should I send SAT scores before/after/simutaneously with my CUNY college application as an incoming freshman? Or is it completely and utterly irrelevant?

Some colleges and it sounds like the CUNYs will take the SAT scores from your high school transcripts. Check with an admissions counselor at CUNY and they should clear it up.

Hey Neverend,
