Sending SAT scores twice

Hello, I am a senior in high school, and I was wondering about sending SAT scores twice to UCs.

I am planning to take the December SAT test. This will be my third time taking it. That is cutting it a bit close to the deadline for sending in SAT scores which is around the end of December, so I was wondering if I could send two SAT scores in (my March one and my December one if it is better). Is that possible? Would the UC look at the better of the two? Or is that really uncommon to do?

Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

You can send test scores as many times as you want and UCs use that one with highest composite. Also, be aware that UCs require you to send all SAT scores so you cannot choose to hold one back. Also, though they accept Dec scores you should identify one of the UCs to which you are applying as a college to receive scores in your test application (as one of your free sends). That is the fastest form of delivery and you should not wait until scores come out to send it. If you designate one UC to get scores all others get it from that one.

Thank you for your reply.
It would be fine then to send in my March score now and then make it so that my December score would be sent automatically? Even if my December score turned out to be lower than my March one, UCs would still only look at the higher of the two, correct?

Yes to both questions.
