Sending SAT Scores.

Hey guys, I applied to CALS RD few days ago.

I just now placed my order to have my SAT scores sent it.

However, I got a bit confused in the process..

I already have a SAT score and two SAT subject test scores, yet I wanted to retake one of the subject tests. So I just registered to take the January SAT subject test.

I think what will happen is among the three:
1) CB waits till the Jan subject test score is out to send all the scores
2) CB sends the scores I have now and send another report after Jan scores are out
3) CB sends the scores now and does not send the Jan scores at all.. :(

Which one is it?

Provide you still indicate Cornell on Collegeboard.com for the SAT registration, 2 should happen. Honestly, the order was most likely a waste, but since you’ve already given your money to CB, there’s nothing much you can do about it now. Therefore, they’ll send out a copy of your score in most likely about a week – give or take a bit. Then, in late Jan/early Feb, about a week after you get your scores, and once you get your full score report online, they’ll send out that new set of, hopefully improved, scores, along with whatever scores you had selected for them to send to Cornell.

Thanks. but why is it a waste? in that subject tests are not worth retaking?

No, in that they’ll send the old scores the second time too. Your old scores are being sent to Cornell 2x.

haha, i see. no waste on my part! since I just added Cornell as one of the recipients when I registered for the Jan SAT. THANKS!
