Sending SAT scores

My son decided to apply to one more school at the last minute. I just sent his SAT and ACT scores to them but I think we both procrastinated too long. I sent the SAT scores regular mail and ACT scores "mailgram". The deadline is Jan. 15 for this app. Will the SAT scores really take 3 - 5 weeks to get there?? Scores are similar. I thought both companies just sent them directly over the 'net.

No you don't have to worry.. the scores will probably in within 2 weeks

I have the same problem as kathiep. So if the app deadline is Jan 15th the SAT doesn't need to be there by then?
I was going to rush the scores today, and pay again ($26 plus $9 per school) which means the money I just spent to send them regular is just wasted!

Before you rush the scores, I would recommend you call the schools and ask them if they need to be rushed. Many colleges will tell you specifically not to rush score reports. Either way, call colleges and tell them that a score report is on its way. If they have a record that you callled and said your score report is coming and your application file happens to come up for reading, hopefully they will hold it to the side until your report comes in (though I don't think most colleges start reading applications in January anyway)

OK thanks!

i called columbia, etc and they said it was fine. i sent my score reports jan. 6 adn my deadlines were the 1st
