Sending SAT scores

Today is the 22nd, UC applications are due on the 30th. I have a few questions.
1) Do my SAT scores need to be received by the UC system by November 30th? Even if I don't want my SAT score to be used?
2) I took SAT subject tests on November 8. The scores don't come out until November 25. Do these scores have to be received before the UC deadline? Do all subject test scores have to be received by then?
3) Also, I took the ACT and did much better on that, and would rather use my ACT score than my SAT score. However, the UCs do not allow score choice, so I have to send it because I need to send my subject test scores. Can I just say that I only took the ACT on the application? I don't want my SAT score to be used, but I need to send subject tests.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

The due date for test scores is not Nov 30. UCs accept through the Dec SAT and ACT tests and if you send Nov scores regular delivery after they come out, you will be fine. Under no circumstances should you state on application that you took only the ACT as that would itself be a lie and a misrepresentation on the application can itself be grounds for rejection. As to just not mentioning SAT scores on application or not sending SATs, the UCs stated score choice policy is unclear as to whether SATs have to be submitted if you submit ACT and subject tests. For definitive answer, you should contact UC admissions. As to what happens if you submit the SAT and ACT, the UC’s stated policy is that it will use only that test which has the highest composite to determine admission.

The UC application this year asks only for the highest scores of the tests that you’ve taken. Do we still have to send ALL the scores of the tests we’ve taken then? Or just the highest score ones that we’ve indicated on the application?
