Sending SAT Scores

Hi, I applied EA for the October 15th deadline and sent my sat scores. I was retook the SAT in October for other schools, but didn’t submit it to Georgia tech without viewing them. The scores I sent were 740math 740 reading 740 writing all from one test date. The scores I got on the retake were 680 Reading, 770 Math, 640 Writing. Georgia Tech says they accept scores from the November test date so I could still send another report in now, but would it actually help me? It’d move my CR Math up to 1510 vs 1480. Also I sent Subject test for Math 2 which was a 770 but I’m not sure they even look at those. Would it be worth sending my new SAT score?

Georgia Tech superscores across all SAT tests. This can go to your advantage. It is recommended to send in all test scores to Georgia Tech. The 770 in Math would replace the 740 helping to increase your score by 30 points. Subject Tests are not required, but they are encouraged as an extra, and are reviewed by the admissions committee. They show demonstrated ability in certain subjects like Math in your case.

Supporting documents will be added to your application as long as they are sent by:
Early Action: December 1
Regular Decision: February 1

Considering you applied EA the test scores will no longer added to your application unless you are deferred, but I hope you aren’t. 30 points likely will not make or break an application so I suggest just holding tight and crossing your fingers.
Good luck!

Nevermind this thread is from November.

Thanks but yeah, bit late. I ended up not sending them but got Accepted regardless. I’m glad because I would have fretted over not sending the scores making a difference.
