Sending SAT Subject Tests

If I want to send my SAT II scores, do I have to send my SAT I scores as well? My ACTs were way better than my SAT I, and I don't want to send them at all.

Unless a specific school requires all scores (in which case you should send all), when you send through the college board website you have the ability to choose just the subject test scores you want to send and, so long as you send ACTs, you won’t need to also send your SAT scores.

A number of colleges require you to send SAT if you send any subject tests (Cornell, Penn, Yale included).

There is also the issue of whether subject tests will be considered at some colleges without an SAT. Example: Yale accepts ACT in lieu of both SAT and subject tests and considers those two separate and distinct submissions in that it considers the ACT alone for admission without subject tests, and if you send just ACT and subject tests the subject tests will not be considered. To have those subject tests considered you must submit SAT.
