Sending SATs (Early Action)

Hey! I just sent my SAT scores (online) to MIT today (Oct 26). I'm getting nervous because I realized that it takes weeks for MIT to process the scores and the deadline is Nov 1st-Early. Is this a problem!?

I am under the impression that MIT gets electronic score reports from College Board once or twice a month in batches. In that case, I would expect your score to be reported relatively soon, depending on when the next report goes out.

At any rate, MIT accepts November SAT scores for early action admissions decisions, so it shouldn't be a problem for your scores not to arrive for a few weeks (if it even actually takes that long). The selection process won't begin until early December -- the admissions officers will be reading applications during the month of November, and if your scores don't arrive immediately, it won't be a problem.

I sent my with my Oct SAT's and collegeboard said they sent them on the 24th. MIT received them yesterday. So it only took 1 day for me =/.

i thought i sent my with oct SAT, but where does college board say that they sent it? i don't see any change cuz if they didn't send it with the school, that means i have to order them ASAP

Uh, on some summary of sent scores.

grr, i guess i only put the college list for ACT test! Darn!!! wasted 40 dollars for not submitting with the test!
Thanks!
I'll submit now I guess.
