Sending SATs

I am applying early to UVA, but I dont know if my SATs will get there in time. I had not sent anything at all, but did select UVA to get my SAT2 results from October. Will they get everything, and will they get it in time?

I wouldn't count on it. I'm not even sure if all of your scores get sent when you send the scores from one testing date.

You might have to fork over 26 bucks for the rush delivery. I'd call collegeboard.

UVA doesnt accept rush reports. But why do they state that October is the last month for SATs for early desicion then?

can anyone confirm this? i took the sat's in oct, but college board says i get my score a day after i send my app in early to uva. ***?

What standardized tests do I have to take?

If you are applying for admission as a first-year student for 2006 enrollment, we require that you take the SAT I or the ACT. We also strongly recommend that you take two SAT II Subject Tests of your choice.

For the first-year class entering in 2006, we will require scores from either the SAT I or ACT, and we strongly recommend taking the new SAT I or the ACT with the additional writing section. However, we will accept old SAT I scores with the SAT II Writing score. We also strongly recommend that you take two SAT II Subject Tests of your choosing.

We strongly prefer that you complete all your testing by December of your senior year; but we will accept scores from January for the SAT II tests. The latest possible test date for Early Decision applicants is October so that scores are received on time. U.Va. does not accept rush scores from the College Board.

I was told by a Collegeboard representative that all SAT reports were being rush delivered this fall because so many are for early, despite if you paid extra or not.

From this, I take it that UVa will accept the SAT reports if they come in after the deadline.

Your ACT is higher so sending it alone would be better..however, since UVA expects at least two SAT II...they will see your SAT I scores as well. It shd not matter though since both your SAT I and ACT are good.....Did you take SAT II math 2C? IF this score is high then don't worry.
