I'd really appreciate it if anyone answered asap. I've been really lazy this whole month and did not send my SAT or ACT scores yet. I'm planning to send my december SAT scores + 2 subj tests from before, and my ACT scores to Boston College, which has its deadline set on Jan.1. Does anyone know if they have to receive my scores by that date? would I be okay if I send it now because my scores would be postmarked/requested for sending before Jan.1?

Generally schools accept SAT scores after the application due date (which could be, e.g., January 1). Some schools with the January 1 application due date even take the January SAT. These schools would not have a due date for when the scores should arrive but simply suggest that you send it asap after the last testing month that they accept (generally December, sometimes January). I don’t know particularly about Boston College though. Either call the school or find the information on their website. If you send it now it should arrive by January 1 or near it. Or rush report it if BC ends up not being one of those schools that are lenient about score reporting due dates.
