Can you send your SAT/Subject Test scores after the application deadline? My cousin is taking his subject tests in January 25th 2014 and the application deadlines for most of the universities he wants to apply to are 1st January 2014. Basically, he intends to send the rest of his application (essays, SAT score, recommendations, etc.) before the deadline and send the Subject test scores later. If he sends his scores after the deadline will his scores be reviewed? It's urgent. Please let me know. Thanks.

Each school sets its own deadline for the final SAT/ACT/subject test scores that will be accepted. So, your cousin needs to check the website for each school he’s applying to and see if that school requires subject tests and accepts January test scores.

Yep, its ok, just check about deadlines ( tests) on collegeboard. Most schools will accept January SAT, they just need send scores directly.

Thanks to both of you for the responses.

@Ar4ybaldik: I’ve just check that section of the deadlines tab for several colleges, and most of them report a SAT/Subject test score due date in the first week of January. January SAT scores come out between the 13th and 15th of February, so I am still not sure how that score is going to fit into that deadline. Am I missing something on CollegeBoard’s site?

Most colleges choose their own policy for accepting scores. January 25 gets those scores to colleges somewhere in neighborhood of mid-Feb available, plus sending. So maybe as late as March 1 to receive.

Why take Jan SAT Ii? Seems late to me. Really late.
