Sending scores after deadline?

Is it possible to send in ACT scores after you have already sent in your common app online? Will they take it in to consideration, or will they have already made the decision by December?

If you have an app on file, you can still submit your ACT scores unless it’s past the deadline which is November 1st right? So if you take the end of October ACT tests - they will be considered.

Not an accurate response, I’ve heard that they accept scores after the deadline upto December I believe, but i need someone to confirm. I am planning on taking ACT december

This is from the FSU website - Freshman Admissions Requirements:

“The January SAT and February ACT are the latest tests that we will use in the admission process for applicants applying for the summer or fall term.”

Since their first decision comes out on December 14th, any tests relatively close to this date and later would probably be considered for the second round of decisions released on March 14th.

Sorry, I accidentally put the FSU requirements.

The only thing I found on the UF  website is:

“When to Apply: Admission priority is provided to qualified applicants whose applications and supporting documents are received by the Office of Admissions during the preferred application period – August 1 through November 1. Applications received outside this period will be considered on a space-available basis only.”

I didn’t find anywhere where they specifically reference the SAT & ACT test dates. Too bad they don’t make it a little easier to find out.

An Uf admissions officer came to our school a few weeks ago and told us that they take scores up to Dec 31rst. Any scores received after wont be considered. They don’t start going through files until January.
