Sending Scores Along the Way

I was at my school's AP pre-administration meeting last week, and there was a box where we could fill in a school's code and have our scores sent for free. I figured I'd take the safe route and just fill in one of my top choices.

As a sophomore, I know I have no reason to send official AP score reports yet, but will it do any harm to have them sent ahead now? I suppose I'll have an opportunity to erase it on test day if I want to, but is there any reason to?

Bump. Just looking for verification that sending these scores won’t be detrimental to me at all.

they probably won’t be sending them until july of your senior year. if anything, you got a free score report out of it.

as i understand it, whenever a school receives anything from a new applicant, regardless of what it is they receive, they open a new file. of course, I’m not sure when it is they send the reports - it might be later, but either way, it’ll just sit pretty until the rest of your application comes in. :)
