Hello, I am a junior new to this website and new to the college application process in general, so forgive me for this naive question, but I was wondering if other students are sending their SAT I & II scores to colleges before senior apps. I took Physics in June and Math II today (800 in physics, likely 800 in math), and I initially planned to use the 4 free score reports to make my name known by the colleges. However, I am starting to wonder if random papers from an unfamiliar student may just be a nuisance. So, should I send score reports now and send them again when i finish all my tests or should I just wait?

No, send them now. Collegeboard doesn't send the scores until you turn in your apps, so it would be okay. And besides, college app officials should be organized so they'd put your scores somewhere safe ^^

"Collegeboard doesn't send the scores until you turn in your apps"?

I've never heard of that, are you sure?

I'd suggest waiting until your senior year to send your SAT scores. All of your application supplements are placed in a file with your name on it, and saved until an indeterminant date (I'd think after all of the RD app's have been recieved), and supplementary materials without applications are then thrown out.

Well I think it was something like that. I remember them saying that they'd send a cumalitive score thing.
