Sending scores DIRECTLY to Princeton for REA?

Hey guys,

I am applying Restrictive Early Action to Princeton, and I am giving two SAT Subject tests on the November date.
According to Princeton, for REA, “If you take standardized tests in November, you should have your scores sent directly to Princeton.”

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but what exactly does that mean? Does it mean I wont be able to see my scores before sending? Or does it mean I’m supposed to Rush Report them? Am I missing out on an option? Can’t seem to find it.

Thanks!

It means you cannot see the scores before sending them. You have to designate them to be sent to Princeton before taking the test. If Princeton requires this, that means you do not have a choice.

Hey @samc24
It means you send using a free score report before reviewing your scores…hope that helped!

@sunshine232 @princetonian254 thanks! But does that mean that somehow the university will access my scores before it’s even available to see?

@samc24 Typically collegeboard sends out the report a day before the scores are published online

@Nifty88 oh okay thanks.
One day isn’t a lot haha wonder why it’s so mandatory

@samc24 because otherwise they would send it only after you saw it and time is of the essence for college admissions
