Sending scores from College Board-must they ALL be sent?

I gave my son the assignment today of requsting CB to send his most recent SAT scores to the 8 schools to which he will apply. He said the only option is to send ALL scores...which includes the SAT subject tests, etc. Is there a way to get them to send the normal SAT only?

Nope. You have to send everything. SAT is changing that, but I don't know when the change will take place.

New SAT score policy:

New SAT Score-Reporting Policy

My son took the math Subject test with little preparation and scored in something like the 23rd percentile. (His SAT math score was 690, which is good for him.) He's no longer applying to any schools that require subject tests, but now I fear the bad subject score will hose him, or at least make his 690 look suspect.

Okay, so my younger kids will be able to pick and choose, but not this one. Oh well.

Don't worry too much. The lower scores will not invalidate the higher ones -- if anything, they will take the higher SAT I math score into greater consideration than the SAT II subject test scores, especially if they don't require the SAT II.
