Sending Scores please help!

Hi, I'm kind of new to the boards and I'm an international applicant, so I am not really familiar with the application process, and I would really appreciate some help.

I took the SAT in November and the Subject tests on the December date. In the College Board website it says "Scores are mailed to (...) colleges and programs requested, approximately four weeks after we process your request

I haven't even requested for my scores to be sent out yet! My earliest deadline is January 1, so if the process really takes four weeks then none of my scores will get there in time, especially the SAT II because those scores are not even available yet.

Should I sent my SAT scores right now and my SAT II on the 20th, when they are available? Or should I wait till the 20th to send them all together.

I'm freaking out because I'm going to miss the deadline... do scores HAVE to arrive before the deadline? Does it matter if my application is submitted in time, but my scores are late? I'd really appreciate some answers. TIA!

Check on the websites of the colleges to which you are applying to see last test date they accept. Almost all colleges that have a Jan 1 deadline accept December test scores by regular delivery even though they arrive after Jan 1 (and many even take Jan tests) and for those you can just order as soon as your December scores come out and do not need to send SAT yet.

That four weeks for mailing is mainly outdated and it is what the College Board has been saying for well over thirty years. Most colleges now receive test scores electronically from the CB so "mailing" isn't even an issue and usually the electronic transmission occurs in a significantly shorter time than 4 weeks.
