For some reason my college office person told me, contrary to my belief, that i have to pay to have EACH and every one of my sat, sat2 and act tests sent over to one college (maybe she didnt understand my question). Is that true? It can't be because you cant just take an SAT test, do bad and act as if you never took it by not sending it in. As I am aware that I have to pay to send my scores to each COLLEGE individually, do I have to pay for each TEST or do all the sats get sent over for 1 payment, all the sat2s for another payment and all the acts for another?

For SAT, it’s one payment per school. It includes all SAT/SATII tests you have taken to date, unless the school allows you to take advantage of “score choice,” in which case you can pick and choose which tests to send.

For ACT, you pay by the test. You can’t send multiple test scores for one fee.

o thnx a lot! for “score choice” its as if your deleting a bad score you didnt want them to see so to say?

Yes, if the school allows “score choice,” you can pick to leave out tests you did not perform well on. Some schools will ask for your best score, some will ask for ALL scores. Collegeboard tends to make it pretty clear what is required from each college when you actually get online and start sending them.

alright thats pretty much all i wanted to know

Question on the same topic. Will schools be informed if you use scorechoice?
