I just took the sat bio on saturday and i didnt do as well as i would have hoped, i dont think.

i dont want to cancel because i am not sure that i did POORLY and there seems to be a good curve on this one, judging by how hard it was.

however, i might get like a 730...which would be bad for the schools i am applying to, since i am saying that i want to major in biology in college.

i specified for the scores to be sent to 7 of my schools before the test...they are all pretty much top schools. however, only 2 of them actually required me to take this test, since i have already taken math IIc and us history.

is there a way to change which schools get my scores now? and is it okay for my scores to arrive at a college before my actual app?

oops lol idk how i posted two of the same thing here

Yes, login to the College Board website and you can change the schools you send reports to for...10 days?...2 weeks?...a while, anyway.

but should i?

does it look better taking bio and having 3 sat IIs even though i need only two even if bio is not a wonderful score

my other ones are
math 2- 800
ush- 790

If the lowest you are worried about getting on Bio is a 730, even if you are majoring in Bio, I would let the test stand. If you've got the rest of the package, even if your 730 is a bit low (and it simply cannot BE more than a bit low, right?), your other scores are high enough that those are the scores the school will use to calculate its averages for the incoming class. In other words, you're not going to hurt their numbers and there is no significant difference between a 730 and an 800 in terms of demonstrating mastery of the subject matter. That's just one mom's opinion, tho. (Penn did say outright not to retake an SAT of 750 to try for an 800--saying a 750 is not going to keep you out of Penn and retaking a 750 just looks silly. I think the same applies in your situation.)

most top colleges will want three sat ii's especially for your major. since you want to major in bio, then a bio sat 2 is in order by my opinion. if you're going for regular, consider retaking it in November. you're other 2 scores are good though

Who requires 3? Columbia and Penn do not.

i need it for harvard, which is a total crapshoot anyways

and i need it for mit, which needs a science one.

but i dont even want to go to mit, it is my father that wants me to apply lol
