sending scores to colleges

Oh, I was wondering how I could sent all my AP scores to all the colleges I want to apply to. I am planning to apply to about 10 colleges and taking 5 AP classes this yr and maybe 6 next yr. Would I have to pay alot of $$. Is there another way because my family is very poor. Thank you.

Unfortunately, you have to pay the extra bucks to send offical scores to each college (absent a fee waiver if you can prove inability to afford the cost which you can request through the College Board). Note, however, except for a few colleges which will actually accept AP scores in lieu of SAT and SAT II's, there is no college that requires you to send offical AP scores for admission purposes and, to the extent they might consider them, they will generally rely on self-reported scores that you provide in your application or essay, or (and many high schools do this), the AP scores that appear on your high school transcript.

Thanks drubsa for the reply. That clears things up for me.
