Sending Scores to Colleges

I just took an SAT subject test on Saturday, and I have about a week to specify if I would like to send my score to certain colleges. (Although I'm only a junior, this is my second subject test.) I've been getting really mixed answers from people about whether it's worth it or not to send out my scores. I'm pretty confused, since I'm not exactly clear on what colleges DO when they receive a score. Does it signal that a student is interested in them? Is that good? Or do colleges not really care about the scores unless they come with an application? (Also worth noting: I'm not positively sure about which colleges I plan to apply to, although I came up with a good list of ones I am interested in, should I decide to send my scores.)

Thanks so much for whatever advice you can give!

Wait until you have taken the SAT AND you have decided which colleges you are interested in applying to. All your scores- SAT and subject tests, will be sent together when you decide where to apply and have your scores sent.

Agreed. There's no point in sending them now, just because the report is free. You'll end up sending them again anyway, when you've finished all your testing.
