So I took the SAT(x3), ACT(x2), and many SAT 2 subjects tests(x4).

I did much better on the ACT than the SAT. Therefore, I want to send just the ACT scores and SAT 2 scores to upenn. None of the SAT scores.

When I tried to do this on Collegeboard, it warned me that Upenn's policy was
UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSION has indicated that it considers all SAT scores in its review process and requires that you submit all SAT scores from all test dates.
So can I still not send any of the SAT scores, rather just send the SAT 2 scores and the ACT scores? It's not like I'm hiding a lower SAT score, it'll just seem as if I never took the SAT.

And upenn will never know that I took the SAT either, it would seem as if I took the ACT twice, took the SAT 2s, and left it at that.

Thanks in advance.

i think you should submit all test scores.

the problem is that the SAT score is: 800M 630CR 800W
while the ACT score is 35(36M,36S,34R,33E)

So the CR is what worries me. It’s like the bottom of the bottom and it might be a pretty big factor in the decision. I mean a 630CR is nothing to be proud of…

So yea I would def. like not to report the SAT scores and it seems everything would be fine.

Does that change your mind?

Your ACT reading score makes up for the weak SAT reading score, so admissions might think you just had a bad day when you took the SAT

^
That’s true if I had taken the SAT once.
I took it 3 times, with a CR score of 630–>600–>630

So while I do agree with you, it isn’t a bad day or anything, I am just really bad at SAT CR.

I would still send it, I mean you have the 34 R on the ACT so obviously you have reading comprehension skills, some people just aren’t good at some standardized tests, and since you have 800’s in the M and W parts I don’t think they will be overtly alarmed by your subpar CR section,

They take the better score anyway. God forbid they tarnish their median test scores.

Hey, just letting you know I addressed this question in the thread I created: “Some Advice from a Future Penn '15”. Hope it helps!
