sending scores to Yale

My ACT is pretty good (34) and my SAT is pretty bad (for Yale). I got a 620 CR and 670 W. I also have a 770 Math II subject test and I'm taking the Chem subject test in December.

Here's the deal. I know that I can send the ACT or the SAT and 2 subject tests. I'm going to send my ACT score. But, if I want Yale to see my subject test scores, I have to send the SAT I. I want to major in Chemistry and if my Chem SAT is good I think it'd be important for them to see. But, do you think it's worth it since they'll see the 620 CR??

Thanks for your input!

Send your ACT. If you state that you want to major in chemistry and your grades in chemistry, on the AP test, et cetera are good, or if you’ve done some chemistry-related research, they’ll get the picture. Your SAT score will hurt you a lot.

I think they’d consider his reading on his ACT more than they would his reading on his SAT.
