ok i’m lost with this score sending process…
i’m applying to 4 UCs and 5 privates and i haven’t sent my scores through collegeboard yet. I just read on the site today that they take THREE to FOUR weeks to reach the colleges!! is this true? and if so, is it too late for me to send my scores to each of the 4 UCs? my USC deadline is dec 10…is it too late for that too? I’m really worried…

<p>They don't look at the scores on the day that they are recieved. You should send them asap, however. Even if you aren't sure where you will be applying, send them now.</p>
<p>For myself, applications are due on January 1st. i will likely send my scores to the ones I know that I will apply to over the weekend (as long as they have a place to put them, as I haven't yet send in an application, I believe that the scores will create a folder for me.). For the rest, as I will ask my teachers for reccomendation in the first weeks of December (they are already written from Early Action rounds), and then I should know my final list of schools and will send them off at that point.</p>
<p>Most schools with January 1st deadlines still accept January 22nd scores on the SAT. This shows how late they accept scores from. Do it now and you will be fine, they will trust your word on your application and wait for confirmation from the college board before offering admission. If you are really worried, email them.</p>
