I am taking the ACT in December. I was wondering if I send the scores after the deadline, will the admissions office still take my scores? I am planning to send my SAT scores as well, but they are lower than the accepted average for my school.

You’re totally fine if you take them in December. You can even take them again in February if it comes to that! From the UChicago website:

"While we would of course like to receive your scores before the appropriate deadline, for the Early Action deadline, we will accept November SAT scores and October ACT scores and for the Regular Decision deadline, we will accept January SAT scores and February ACT scores."

Thank you. I love uChicago
