I'm kind of confused regarding CollegeBoard's score sending thing.

Firstly, what's the purpose of sending your scores out to colleges? Won't they just see the scores when you apply to the school?

And secondly, if I'm applying ED to a college, am I supposed to list that school as a recipient for my scores when I register for the October test?

When you apply to colleges, they will need an official score report from the College Board. You can either list schools on your registration (and get 4 free score reports) or you can send reports later for a fee (~$9?). If you're applying ED, then you should list that school on your October test registration. If you're not going to be taking any more SAT/SAT II's after that, list three other schools you're planning on applying to as well. They'll receive your score and have it on file when you send in the rest of your application.
