sending scores

If I sent my scores to Pton in the Nov. sitting (as one of the four free ones you get), do they file those scores or do I have to send them again for RD?

I believe that they put those scores right in your file and you're all set!

So they would create a new file for me just because I sent my SAT scores? How would they know I'm even going to end up applying?

leave it to the admissions office to worry about that... ^^

They say that once they get one piece of an app from anyone (whether that's the regular app, scores, a teacher rec, whatever) they start a file for that person and just add pieces to that file as they come in.
So, I second maddy!

haha i originally thought that i was going to app to harvard, but eventually chose to app to dartmouth RD over harvard, however, since i had a 9 day (or whatever it is) window, to send the scores, and i hadnt decided at the time, i just sent them to harvard and dartmouth....and im not apping to harvard...think ive confused them at all??? i actually feel a little bad about this, haha

haha I did that too.
I accidentally sent in score reports to colleges I'm not applying to because I changed my mind at the last minute.

anyone know if we should send in AP scores too?

Nope...they're self-reported. I called them and asked them just to make sure :)

yeah my counselor said that they just trust you on these, but remember, if you take any exams this year you will probably send the report directly to the college which you will attend, so they will eventually get the report (ie: it does not behoove you to lie)

Speaking of which, do you think they would rescind an offer of admission for one bad AP score this May, among several good ones? I fear that Physics C: Mechanics has not been my friend. I don't think that Pton would do that, considering I don't plan to go into physics or engineering or any science really (and so don't plan on using the credit), and because it's just 1 AP and they won't get the score until July, but what do you guys think?

^No way...

Don't worry, you can't use it for credit anyway (just testing into a higher level class). Princeton doesn't accept AP credit (with a few exceptions like the language requirement)

Yeah, that's what I meant...not credit...jeez, stop being so literal!! :p
