If a school says they take scores up to December testing date, do we have to send in scores right after the test or can we send them in when the results come in. This is for the Dec1 SAT if anyone is wondering (and I'm also taking the ACT next week but that shouldn't be a problem cause scores are sent separately) I'm getting mixed opinions. My tutor and school counselor said we have to send in the scores right after the test date (if you don't decide to cancel) and my friend's dad said we have until January for the schools (UC, in particular) to receive the score.. Score report processing takes from 1-4 weeks btw, according college board...

bump. need answer

bump bump

bump, i heard someone say official deadline is 12/31??

Check with your target school for accurate information about deadlines rather than relying on acquaintances and posters on CC. Is there any advantage in waiting? Here's the schedule for sending scores from the College Board site.

Note that you can still update your score recipients this week so that your target schools will get your scores as soon as they are available.

"You can make changes to your score recipients easily in your My SAT account. When you register, you can send four score reports at no cost. You can change these score recipients until 11:59 PM (EST) on the Monday one week after your scheduled test date."
