I posted this somewhere else, but I'm new here and just found this section, so I apologize for asking again:

What is the best way to send SAT scores to athletic recruiters? We sent some out after downloading them off of collegeboard.com and now I realized that the subject test report lists all the schools scores were sent to from that date.

Also, is that a bad thing? I hope not, because it's too late now. Those choices were made months ago and aren't even schools that are at the top of the list now, but the ones we sent to will see the names. We should have only scanned the top page (as with the SAT main report) but we didn't realize.

Scores have been sent to the admissions offices in the schools but recruiters are asking for their own copies anyway.

Please forgive my obvious ignorance and lack of knowledge in the proper terms to use. I was only asking for some information, but I’ll find it somewhere else. I’ve browsed the archives and haven’t seen any other rude responses in any threads. So much for this.

Send your scores and info to the fax or email the coaches (college head coaches?) give you IF you are being recruited.

If you are working with “recruiters”…are these companies you are paying to market you? If so–do what they ask.

If you have already faxed/sent a full report–its out there…and yes the admissions/coaches who you sent it to will see it and everything listed on it.

What else are you asking?

These forums are very helpful and very very few posts are rude. Good luck.

No, they’re not professional recruiters. I didn’t even know there was such a thing. They are college coaches. I just used the wrong word. Since they do the recruiting, I called them recruiters. I have no experience with this, and I’m just trying to help my child, who manages most of these contacts anyway.

After we sent the scores, I realized that they listed the schools that had received the four free score reports. We chose one school because it was a top pick and the others because we knew even if the scores were bad it didn’t matter because they were options, but not top options. I was only asking if this was going to have a negative effect if the coaches at the other schools saw that they weren’t early contenders. I would hope not, but this seems to be a world where the strangest things matter.

Perhaps my wording was confusing, but I didn’t think the questions were incomprehensible. I also found another post where there were several responses to my original question, what is the best way to send the scores directly to the recruiter/coach. I called the school and they said they don’t get paper SAT reports anymore. I was simply trying to figure out exactly what they might have been asking for and in what form.
