When I am sending scores to colleges, does it matter when and for what test I send them? For example -

I'm applying to 5, and I'm taking the SAT Reasoning in Nov. and SAT II Math IIC in December - so can I send scores to four of the colleges in Nov, and to one of them in December? Will the colleges have my files by then, or should I wait until later?

as best as i understand it- u just need to send ur scores ASAP. i really dont think colleges look at your scores and stuff until january...
i think u may be able to order scores early (i.e. if u are taking a test in nov u can order ALL the colleges u want to receive ur scores + november numbers)...
if anything contact individual colleges?

You need to check with each school's application deadlines to see when the scores are due. Then, you need to check the College Board & see how long it takes from the time you order scores until they're received by the school & work it out backwards. If you don't allow enough time, you'll need to consider sending them "rush," which costs extra.
By the way, some schools allow scores that are recorded on your official high school transcript instead of requiring that you send scores from College Board. This can be a savings & you can check to see whether any of the schools you're applying to accept this method of supplying score info. Several of the schools my son is interested in do accept scores recorded on HS transcript, YEAH!
