Brown and Harvard state that I should send transcripts and SSR from my old high schools. However everything has been transferred to my current school, and I see no point to doing that.

Does this apply to me? Have any of you been in the same situation? My current transcript is "consolidated" and it would be complicated to have previous counselors write more reports.

bumppp! please help! :)

There is still a need for SSR to see your old grades in context. I don’t see why you wouldn’t send it.

Is that really what everyone (who attended multiple high schools) does?

Do I really need to do this for all of my schools? I have attended 3 high schools, but only my current counselor sent the SSR, so that leaves 2 counselors to contact.

2 counselors * 16 private schools = 32 forms / envelopes to mail.

this has got to be a joke right? Is there a way to just add those two counselors to my online common app? that’s the way I did it with my current counselor and it’s very convenient to not have to mail anything

are schools going to reject me because they don’t have SSR from my old high schools? I mean they still get my current “consolidated transcript” with all of my previous courses and grades on it…

no one told me I had to do this, i feel screwed.

I don’t think it’d be a huge deal but you should talk to the schools you applied to. Maybe look up the Common App FAQ on adding multiple counselors.
