???

verification? what are you talking about?

Yes, please explain!

I had to send copies of my residency and Visa for ‘Tuition Classification’ a while ago though. Maybe he means that?

I’ve heard nothing about financial aid verification from my end… yet. Maybe later in the summer?

bump for the answer

i called their office, they said they will tell us about it at orientation/or they will mail it out. the verification form is that piece of paper verifying some financial stuff and asking for tax returns/W2 stuff. i was just moving too fast i guess (even though berkeley sent it to me like 40 days ago, i guess ucla is slower). so don’t worry everyone, you’ll be informed sooner or later.

@HigherHopes- I had to do that too. Sent them right after they asked me and I haven’t received my eFAN yet.

Has anyone ever had any problems when their file was selected for verification?

@match: i’ve been selected for verification every single year of college, and there has never been a problem

does everyone have to send in verification forms? because i dont think they asked me to. but maybe im looking in the wrong place.

Oh i hope not. i havent heard anything about that for me. maybe it’s just random? or they only need some people to verify stuff?

well, they didn’t even notify me directly. i had to look at my account, then it said that they still need a couple of verification documents. they never even emailed me about it. i can tell that ucla fin aid dept is not that great. berkeley sent me all the forms through first class post mail a week after i was accepted in early may. ucla sent nada.

@HigherHopes: Thank you- that makes me feel a little bit better. I’m still worried that I don’t even know how much money I’m getting. Did your eFAN change a lot from your ePAL?
