How do you send your stuff? I mean, DHL and so on are so freaking expensive, 50 Euros, I can't believe it. I'm getting poor...how do you manage it? Isn't there something cheaper?

normal mail. that's how i sent most of my applications.. and they all got there! just make sure you apply well in advance (2/3 weeks at least?) from the deadline though. otherwise use any expedited service if the deadline is like a week or less away or sth.

in any case, it's always a good idea to apply early. if you miss sth in your app or anything, the college can always notify you in time for you to do whatever it is that you need to.

I used the EMS system to send some supplementary stuffs... for my ED college as the college wont remind me that they haven't got them..

wel you might want to find out the reliability of the postal system in your country first. mine has a 87% guaranteed-lost-in-the-mail rate, so i always stick with FedEx or UPS.

i am from Nepal.. and I don't think they even keep a record of mails lost! But international mails are fairly reliable for some reason. EMS is a great option! I used that for a few. FedEx for my ED!

Well in my case...last year i applied to 5, sent 5 packets...4 never reached...1 came back for no freaking reason....where else...Nepal....it rocks.....except the postal service that is...

tht's awful! ehehe

 shail, which service did you use?!

National Postal Service of NEPAL

you probably addressed it incorrectly or sth like that! losing 4 out of 5 mails is almost impossible! the only problem i've had with the postal service is they are friggin slow on incoming mail!!

now wat's EMS guys. unless otherwise I am also going to do the same.National Postal Service of NEPAL. is that ok?

well there are two types...simple mail and EXPRESS MAIL SERVICE aka EMS...but anyways both are the same...both suck....

i knew wat express mail was. got confused as someone said EMS system. so aren't u not goin to use these this yr?

well the thing is ...for my stuffs..its either 'registered' or online but the things which my teachers and school send go by simple mail...so i am very much skeptic...and i can't help that either...
