<p>Should I send any supplemental stuff with my application?
My stats are GPA: 3.8/4.5 (weighted, it's pretty bad, I know)
ACT: 32 (I'm going to retake but I want to apply to Pitt before I do)</p>
<p>I'm going to write the personal essay, so should I include any recommendations or not? Do I need to?</p>
<p>You don’t need to send recommendations but some students do. DS submitted an essay (scholarship consideration) and that was it. He did get a UHC scholarship (full tuition) but that was totally due to his high ACT score.</p>
<p>I think if they will be great why not send them? My DS sent an essay, recs and a resume listing all of his awards, ECs, volunteer, employment etc in one place to give an overall view of him.</p>
<p>He got Full Tuition - did that all help? Maybe. ACT was 33 SAT was 1490 - HS weighted 97 and we don’t rank.</p>
