Sending supplements for research, music, and visual arts

Hello..

So I am planning to send a supplemental material for research, music, and art. I was quite successful with some considerable recognition in research and music, and dabble (not a professional drawer, but enough talented that my application feels incomplete without a drawing supplement) in art.
I am majoring in engineering/science and already have enough extracurriculars listed to write my artistic background, so I'm worrying if sending supplements for all such three categories would be considered 'over the top' and 'too desperate'.
Advice please? :P

I think sending supplements for all three may be too much. Given the sheer number of applicants at some schools, the admissions would probably not have time to look at all the materials.

I think it would enough to submit an art supplement. If you’ve already had some recognition in research and music, they can already see you have skill in those areas. Admissions may feel submissions in those fields to be redundant.

Just my 2 cents.

IMO supplemental materials are for outstanding talents. With all that adcoms have to look at, a candidate with the moxie to submit not 1, but 3 supplements, had better have the goods to make it worthwhile for them to spend time on. My guess is you’ll be making yourself stand out, but not in a good way.

Don’t forget the old adage, the thicker the file, the thicker the applicant.

I agree. If you are going to send in art supplement, it better be outstanding.
