Supplements are allowed to be sent in after the regular application deadlines right? I know they are supposed to be sent in separetly, but is there a general deadline for supplementary materials?

I believe that supplements must be sent in before the application deadline or your application is not complete. Schools expect you to send in everything over which you have control before the deadline. They are more lenient for things not within your control (recommendations, transcripts, test scores and the like), but applicants themselves should meet the deadlines.

But they don't even know if I'm sending in a supplement or not...?

Double-check the website, but most supplements, other than things like Arts Supplements, are required. If you don't submit a supplement, your application is considered incomplete and will not be reviewed. (Also, on the Common App, you'll see schools that are "hand in hand" listed in gray; you must submit the supplement with the application. The schools will not even download the app until you submit the supplement.)

I'm pretty sure jovenes was referring to things like art supplements, videotapes dance performances, recordings, etc.

In that case, they'll probably accept the optional supplements after the deadline. The risk you run, however, is that they will already have reviewed your "complete" application without this additional information, and will not have time to go back and re-review it with the additional information. If it is at all humanly possible, get that supplement in.

Ty for the information. I actually heard that colleges wait a week or 2 before reviewing everything just to have everything organized, so I won't wait too much after the deadline.
